About this service

STARTTS (NSW Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors) provides specialised mental health support to humanitarian entrants in Australia who are experiencing psychological and/or psychosocial difficulties relating to pre migration experiences of torture and trauma.

This service may help:

  • Culturally relevant psychological treatment and support
  • Face-to-face and telehealth counselling and therapy
  • Services are free and confidential
